Historians hate to research the ruling elite.
Some historians even claim that there is no such thing as a ruling elite.
Why?
Because the ruling elite might crush them.
Fortunately there is one historian who spent his whole life studying the ruling elite and what it is doing to the people.
That historian was Murray Rothbard.
He was professor of economics but even more importantly he was one of the leaders of the Austrian school.
Thus Rothbard proceeded step by step. First he studied praxeology, economics, politics and sociology.

Only after that he was ready to reveal the ruling elite.
Rothbard wrote over 1000 pages about the ruling elite. However, his writings are dispersed on many articles and books.
Now Marco de Wit has collected the most important parts and organised them into a chronological order.
